Q. What mail changes are required for the impending server upgrades?

1.   Customers using POP3/IMAP email must change their email account settings to use the FULL email address, not the short version.  Using the example below, the account name should be info@expat-email.com and not just info.  Individual programmes that customers might be using (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, Internet Mail etc.) should be able to highlight where/how to change this.

2.   Where customers are using mail.expat-email.co.uk as the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers, then they should be changed to mail.yourdomain instead, depending on what the email address is.  For example, if the email address is info@expat-email.com, then these settings would be changed to mail.expat-email.com instead.  If these settings are not changed, it is likely that some emails will be missed.  NOTE:- If you are using any settings other than mail.expat-email.co.uk for one or both of these settings, they SHOULD NOT be changed.
